Danny Gene Gann, 69, of Oak Grove, Missouri, left this life on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Cremation; no services.

Danny was born July 27, 1950 in Imboden, Arkansas, the son of Melvin Gann and Opal Gipson Henderson. He owned and operated Danny’s Metal Polishing and polished wheels for Kenworth Trucking Co. He later went to work for Millwright Local 1529 and had retired. Danny was respected and always in demand as an employee.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lyla R. Gann; two daughters: Shelley D. Meier (Mike) and Danna R. Palmer (Mark); grandchildren: Samantha VanMeter (Paul), Alex Meier, Julia Jane Meier, Savanna Palmer Pike (Nico), Daniel G. Palmer, and Layla Palmer; two great-grandchildren: Kinsley Rae Pike and Rylee Pike; one sister, Lynn Allen of Denver, CO; and other half sisters and brothers.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Opal and Harrell Henderson; sister, Gloria Krokstrom; and brother, Eddie Gann.
Danny was a kind, gentle, and loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
