Donald Max Rector, 62, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Saint Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, Missouri. A memorial gathering and service will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Royer Funeral Home-Oak Grove, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the family to help defray the cost of expenses.
Donald was born on May 4, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to William and Cressie (Casteel) Rector. On Decemebr 27, 1968, Donald married the love of his life: Mary Ann (Atkinson) Rector. He was a production worker for a shingle manufacturer, and loved fishing, camping, mowing lawns, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Cressie Rector; and 10 brothers and dsisters.
His survivors include his wife: Mary Rector of the home; and one sister: Doris Downey of Warsaw, MO; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
