Edward Francis Lindauer, 66, of Concordia, MO, formerly of Huntingburg, IN, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Lindauer was born on August 24, 1944 in Ferdinand, IN, the son of Oliver & Hazel (Whipking) Lindauer. He married Mary A. Lindauer on January 7, 2004 at Jasper, IN. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He had been employed for Underwriters Laboratory in Chicago, he had managed Horseshoe Bend Campground in Leavenworth, IN, and he had served as a Boat Captain for the US Coast Guard working in the entertainment field.
Mr. Lindauer was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
His survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; one brother: Jim Lindauer of Jasper, IN; three daughters: Leslie Lindauer, Caryn McKay & Mary Beth Lindauer; one son: Brian Lindauer; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are three step-daughters: Angela Berry & Stacey Washington of Higginsville, MO and Lori Frizzell of Warrensburg, MO; three step-grandchildren: and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral arrangements are provided by Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove (816-690-4441). There will be no services.
