Geneva I. Hudspeth


Geneva Ilene Hudspeth, 75, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 

Geneva was born December 6, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of William Ray and Margaret Ilene (Olsted) Kaufman.  She married James T. Hudspeth on November 9, 1963.  Geneva was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a great cook, enjoyed dancing in the kitchen, and loved to go antiquing.  She also enjoyed decorating her home for every season, loved get-togethers with the girls, and spending time with her grandsons. 

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Irene Kaufman. 

Her survivors include her husband of 59 years, James of the home; daughter, Deanna Potts (Daryl) of Oak Grove; son, Tony Hudspeth (Tiffany) of Oak Grove; three grandsons: Brett Potts, Garrett Hudspeth, and Grady Hudspeth; brother, Bob Kaufman (Gloria) of Cole Camp, MO; two sisters, Barbara Roberts of Kansas City, KS, and Linda Foster of Hermitage, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
