Marjorie L. Jarvis, born August 9, 1936, passed away March 27, 2010. She graduated from Northeast High School, Kansas City, MO in 1954. She lived in Moberly for the past 38 years, where she obtained two Associate Degrees from MACC. One in Psychology and the other in Childhood Development. She attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, MO where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After that she enrolled in School of Licensed Practical Nursing at MACC. Upon graduating, she was a LPN at Mid-Missouri Mental Health Center until she retired in 2001. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents: Phillip R. and Opal L. Davis. She is also survived by 4 children: Michael, Mark, Robin and Matthew Jarvis; and 5 grandchildren: Jason, Meggan, Ryan, Sean, and Kelsey Jarvis.

A private service was held on March 30, 2010 at the Sni Mills Cemetery in Oak Grove, MO where she was laid to rest. A memorial service will be held in the near future in her honor. In lieu of flowers, Marjorie’s wishes were to have memorial contributions made to: The American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
