Harlan J. Fleehart


Harlan “Mickey” Jerome Fleehart, 72, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. To celebrate Mickey’s final lap, a visitation will be held 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Royer Funeral home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St Jude’s hospital who Mickey has supported for the last 20 years. stjude.org

Mickey was born February 1, 1951 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Maxine Delpha (West) Fleehart. Mickey had a passion for dirt track racing and was president of Show Me Vintage Racing. He had a heart the size of Texas and his smiles could light up a room. Absolutely everything he did was to help people and for the betterment of vintage car racing. His tremendous love for family and friends was beyond measure and will continue to be felt in all those he touched

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine; and brother, Tommy Gates.

Mickey is survived by his loving wife, together for 21 years, Christy Fleehart; daughter, Jessica (Joseph) Hough and grandson, Chase; son, Cale Fleehart (Liz Ruelas); step-son, Adam Tarwater and granddaughter, Abigail; step-daughter, Suzie (Nate) James and grandsons, Aiden Cummings and Jack James; 2 brothers, Elmer and Lyle; 1 sister, Drucilla “Pinky”; and many extended family, including: the Show Me Vintage Racing family.

  1. Its been said that we are lucky to have one or two REAL FRIENDS in our lives ,I can truly say Mickey was that friend to me he will truly be missed.
