Mary Ellen Eidson, 67, of Independence, MO passed away March 23, 2023. Visitation will be 5:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Please make payments payable to Tina Newman.

Mary was born November 24, 1955 in Kansas City, MO to Claude G. & Betty J. (Miller) Eidson. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and listening to music. Mary was a good mother.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Jerry Lee Eidson, Jonny Eidson, Mike Eidson, Steven Eidson.

Mary is survived by 2 daughters: Lana Cole of Phoenix, AZ, Tina Newman of Independence, MO; numerous grandchildren; 2 brothers: James Eidson, Ricky Eidson; 2 sisters: Kathy Esteban, Crystal Livengood Bresette; many nieces and nephews.
