Jeanne Hart Crum, 87, of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Rosewood Health.
Jeanne was born July 30, 1936 in Arcola, Illinois, the daughter of Randall Vincent and Beulah Grace Lee Hart.
She is survived by her children, Shannon Hattey, Lori Crum, Amy (Stu) Sherman and Scott (Katie) Crum; she leaves 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James C. Crum; and infant son, Christopher James Crum.
Jeanne was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ and was a gifted pianist, playing many church services. She was an avid KC Chiefs and KC Royals fan and especially enjoyed the playing days of Len Dawson and George Brett. Jeanne enjoyed following her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at many school and sporting events. The family will be having a private graveside service in Blue Springs, Missouri.
