March 21, 1939 – November 18, 2023

Nellie spent many years before her illness helping others through her job with the Independence School District as a bus driver, where she also worked in the cafeteria in between bus routes. Nellie loved driving the sports teams to their games. She knew each kid’s name, and if there was a need, she made sure that child was taken care of. Nellie had a loving heart for others, and helped so many people. She never knew a stranger. She will be missed.

Nellie was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Ray Taylor; mother, Olive Williams Taylor; brother, Cecil Ray Taylor of Independence, MO. Nellie is survived by her sister, Nancy Taylor Stuart (Jerry) of Independence, MO; niece, Debbie Olinger (Bill) of Grain Valley, MO; nephew, Jeff Stuart (Paula) of Independence, MO. 14 great nieces and nephews, and 19 great-great nieces and nephews.
