Richard E. Arseneau, 86, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28th at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Lee’s Summit.

Richard was born March 2, 1931, in Bourbonnais, Illinois, the son of George F. and Elizabeth (Kennington) Arseneau. He served his country in the Korean War from 1951-1953 and in 1953 was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Paul, Pat and William Arseneau; and two sisters: Delores Lergner and Margaret Donar.

He leaves behind his wife, Midge Arseneau; one son, Wayne Werts and wife Debra; one daughter, Renae Hayes and husband Kevin; three grandchildren: Joshua, Samantha and Anthony Torbert; and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Ramona Sittig and husband Art, one brother, Robert Arseneau; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
