George M. Alleman

George Michael (Mike) Alleman passed from this life into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the age of 67. Mike gave his life to Jesus many years ago and looked forward to the day he would meet his savior. His time on this earth was full of love for his family. Mike married the love of his life, LaVonda “Hervey” Alleman on May 29, 1976. Married just short of 48 years, he leaves her behind with their two children – Christina (Jamie) Terry and William Alleman. Mike also leaves behind his most precious treasures – his four granddaughters, Madison Marie Cornish, Nevaeh Vanderman, Deena Alleman and Devan Alleman.

Mike loved his sports teams, Nascar and especially enjoyed watching Chiefs games with his family. Mike was fortunate enough to travel the world, loved cruising and spending time at the campground with this family. Mike retired from a long career as a meat manager, working for Ball’s Price Choppers across the Kansas City area.

Born to George A. and Mary F. Alleman, Mike was the youngest of 5 children. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister Sharon. He leaves behind his brother, Jimmy (Debbie) Alleman, Shirley (Gene) Hill, sister Kathy Peterman and many nieces and nephews whom he loved so very much.

Services will be held Monday, May 6th at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, Missouri with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and funeral at 3:00 p.m.; burial following immediately afterwards.
