On the morning of Sunday, May 12, 2024, Jeanine S. Simpson of Sibley, Missouri passed away at the age of 69. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Six Mile Baptist Church ~ Sibley, Missouri.
Jeanine retired after a 25-year career at GEHA. She was a sports enthusiast. Jeanine loved watching her Chiefs and Mavericks as well as her children and grandchildren on and off the courts.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Donnie Simpson; A mother and step-mother to three sons’: Rolin Daniels of Blue Springs, Michael Simpson and wife Heather of Grain Valley, and Matthew Simpson and wife Karla of Saint Cloud, FL; and Grandma to her five grandchildren: Anthony, Cassie, Kaytlyn, Peyton and Ryker: one great-grandchild, Wesley; and sister, Barbara Roberts of Independence.
The world will be a little duller without her bright smile and giving heart. In lieu of flowers her family is asking that donations to an organization that Jeanine was passionate about: the Community Blood Center.
