Annette Louise Barker, 62, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 9th in Sumner Cemetery, Atchison, KS. Annette was born on April 23, 1957 in El Paso, TX, daughter of Claude and Carol (Squires) Taylor. She was active in the Grain Valley Schools, Focus/Optimist Club, and explored medieval history with the Society for Creative Anachronism. She enjoyed crafting, weaving, netting and painting. She was a mother to anyone she ever met. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Annette’s survivors include her husband, Leonard of the home; son, Joseph Barker of Columbus, OH; daughter, Karen Barker of Williams, IA; son, Tony Barker (Nicole) of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Lorry McDonald of Odessa, MO; sister, Tammy Taylor of Odessa; Danita Cameron of Warrensburg, MO; brother, Tim Taylor of Centerview, MO; and sister, Stephanie Hicks of Odessa.
