Jacqueline D. “Jackie” Barlund, 79, of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at John Knox Village House, Lee’s Summit, MO. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3rd at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; followed by a graveside at 3:00 p.m. in Valley Memorial Gardens.
Jackie was born February 4, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of John and Anna (Roney) Hyer. She attended the St. Jude Catholic Church in Oak Grove. Jackie enjoyed riding horses, growing flowers, feeding the birds, cooking, and going to the casino.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Barlund in August 2013; three brothers; and four sisters.
Her survivors include three daughters: Debie (Jerry) Middleton of Oak Grove, MO, Cindy (Ron) Lay of Napoleon, MO, & Anna Barlund of Grain Valley, MO; two sisters: June (Don) Kueser of Kingsville, MO, & Pat (Clifford) Hendrickson of Oak Grove; three grandsons: Duke Middleton, Justin Carlsen, & Brandon Carlsen; and one great-granddaughter, Ellie Middleton.
