
Lauralee Moreau, 85, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at New Haven Senior Living in Odessa. Private family services will be held.
Lauralee was born on March 1, 1939, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Harry James and Ruth May (Cunningham) Assenberg.
Lauralee was in the medical field for her entire career. She held various positions throughout her life, but being an OB Tech was her favorite. Delivering babies was her pride and joy.
Lauralee loved animals great and small. Perhaps her favorite in her later years were horses and cats. Most weekends you could find her feeding the horses carrots and apples.
No matter where Lauralee found herself, she always made it her home.
At the end of Lauralee’s life she found courage through her faith and gratitude.
Lauralee was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Allen Larsen; grandson, Johnny Duzan; and brother, Jimmy Assenberg.
Her survivors include five children: April Ann Gugenheim (Ken) of Indianapolis, IN, Tracy Lynn Larsen of Blue Springs, MO, and Christine Waters (Steve Frost) of Long Beach, WA; Jim Larsen of Grain Valley, MO, John Larsen (Sandra) of Odessa, MO; ten grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, Greg, Lynn, Destiny, Mark, Makala, Sierra, Drake, and Darien; and ten great-grandchildren.
