  1. It breaks my heart that my friend of so many years passed away. We worked together at my family owned business “Cliff’s Dixie Cream” in Indep. She was married to Skip Henderson later. They had a son Darin. & I knew she had another son Chris as I baby sitted him when he was very young. I got to talk to her when she was at the nursing home & it was good to talk about old times. She remembered me very well. My condolences to Darin & Chris & her bro Leonard. I will always keep her in my heart. God bless the family.

  2. Diana & I were the very best of friends. I met her when she lived behind our family owned business “Cliff’s Dixie Creme”. She lived in Hawthorn Apartments & was married to Skip Henderson. When she had Darin I would babysit for her. And later after she had Chris I babysit for him too. It was funny remembering some of our fun times together. She took me to a place called “Mothers” in KCMO, as we both loved C&W dancing. I was too. young to get in but she got me an “I.D.” ha All we did was dance all night & have a great time. We used to go to the Fun House Pizza place on 24 HiWay on the weekends & dance to the music there also. We remained close until I moved from MO. but I always stayed in touch & would see her every time I’d get back to MO. We stayed in touch Via Facebook for a few years & then I didn’t hear from her. I got scared, but then found out she was in a nursing home. Thank God her sisterinlaw saw I had been trying to reach her & she reached out to me. I’m so thankful. I’m glad we got to talk & she did remember some of the times I’d talk to her about. I was so deeply sorry to hear of her passing. I will forever love her like a sister. She was the very best. God bless Darin, Chris & all her loved ones.
