Terry Hubbard, 72, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on October 17, 2025.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Missouri. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial immediately following at Blue Springs Cemetery in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Terry was born on April 15, 1953, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Gordon and Marilyn (Johnston) Simmons. She dedicated her career to helping others as a registered respiratory therapist, a profession in which she took great pride. She was sometimes a very self-conscious person. Terry was a devoted wife and a loving mother who found joy and meaning in caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Dorflinger.

Terry is survived by her husband, Glen Hubbard; her son, Trent Dorflinger; brothers Russell, Norman, and Robert Simmons; and sisters Gail Cotten and Marian Simmons.

Terry will be remembered for her compassion, quiet strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
