Phillis Kay Bitzer, 75, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5th at Royer Funeral Home in Blue Springs, MO; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet guests from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.
Phillis was born April 13, 1943, in Breckenridge, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Ruby (Boatwright) Moore. She enjoyed reading, music, taking vacations with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of South Crysler Restoration Branch.
Phillis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward N. Bitzer Jr.; and her son, Edward K. Bitzer.
Her survivors include her daughter, Loretta Jackson of Independence, MO; brother, Ralph Moore (Darlene) of Moberly, MO; sister, Linda Winton of Blue Springs, MO; two half-sisters; two half-brothers; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
