Marion “Lee” Bly, 61, of Independence, Missouri passed away Monday, March 28th, 2016. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:30 Saturday, April 2nd, at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley; funeral service immediately following.
Lee was born in Mayview, Missouri, on June 22, 1954, the son of Thelma Bly. He lived his life as a hardworking man. Lee had a huge heart that his friends and family always knew they could count on. Although, he was a man of few words, we all knew we were loved. He always looked forward to the weekends to get away and hang out with his sons on their hunting and camping trips. Hunting was what he enjoyed the most.
Lee’s brother Eddie and mother Thelma have welcomed him in heaven. We were all blessed to spend our lives with him including his brothers John, James and Kevin, sisters Cathy and Linda, sons Michael and Stephen, daughters Melissa and Sarah, 6 grandchildren, and life partner Heather.
