Allen E. Borberg, 61, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 27th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 28th at the funeral home, with burial following in Blue Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice.
Allen was born December 15, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Donald and Lois Borberg. He attended and graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1972. He worked for Harmon/G.E. from September of 1974 until present. He married Patricia Sopher on March 20, 1976. He loved boating at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family and golfing with his sons and co-workers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lois Borberg. He is survived by his wife, Patty Borberg, of Blue Springs, MO; 3 sons, Jared Borberg of Olathe, KS, John Borberg of Jefferson City, MO, and Jeff Borberg (Sarah) of Olathe, KS; he was looking forward to the birth of his first granddaughter; 2 sisters, Karen Borberg of Blue Springs, MO, and LeeAnn Borberg of Blue Springs, MO.
