Linda Kay Hogue, 70, of Liberty, MO, passed away August 14, 2020. Visitation will be 5:30-6:00 p.m. Friday August 21, 2020 with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Linda was born October 14, 1949 in North Kansas City, MO to James D & Naomi J (Landis) Hendren. She loved horses, cats and cattle. Linda loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, son: Donald Wayne Hogue; sister: Danna Hudson and longtime companion Hoby Helm.
Linda is survived by her daughter: Lori (Steve) Walters of North Port, FL; grandchildren: Sierra Hogue of Pleasant Valley, MO, Brittany Mellinger of Cape Coral, FL, Ashley Hogue of Polk City, FL, Stefani Walters of Englewood, FL, Amy Helm of Oklahoma City, OK, Amanda (Helmut) Riedinger of Richmond, TX, Aaron (Holly) Helm of Fairview, OK, Heather Helm of FL, Christian Helm of Fairview, OK, Rosa (Jeremy) Nelson of Leavenworth, KS; sisters: Jeannie Westmoreland of Kansas City, MO, Terri (Ed) Kreyling of Mexico, MO; 6 great-grandchildren.
