Rodney Wayne Brundige, 49, of Independence, Missouri, passed away March 12, 2019. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21st with funeral to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence.
Rodney was born February 13, 1970 in Independence, Missouri, to Ronald W. & Sonya C. (Barber) Brundige. He enjoyed hunting, photography, bicycling, and camping. Rodney served his county in the U.S. Army for 21 years. He spent 15 months in Afghanistan and 15 months in Korea.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 31 years, Penny Brundige of the home; daughter, Krystal Brundige of Redwood, NY; two sons: Ronald Brundige of Depauville, NY, and Jordon Brundige of Depauville, NY; three grandsons: Nathanial Brundige, Bryson Brundige, and Kavin Brundige, all of NY; one brother; and three sisters.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents: Ronald Brundige & Sonya Foskett.
