Wilma Rae Duffey age 68 of Pleasant Hill, Missouri died Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit Missouri. Services will be held Saturday, December 26th at Big Creek Baptist Church, 1517 N. Highway 7, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, with Visitation at 10 a.m. and Memorial at 11 a.m.
Wilma was born on October 15, 1947 in Warrensburg, Missouri, the daughter of Archie David McKinzie and Willa Belle Houts McKinzie. She graduated from Kingsville High School in 1965. She worked as a dietary manager in long term care facilities in Independence and Harrisonville.
Wilma enjoyed “garage sale-ing”, bingo, and watching Dancing with the Stars. She was a hardworking compassionate women who enjoyed time with her grandchildren and with her beloved friends and neighbors on Shagbark.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Stoneking of Lee’s Summit MO, and Shelly Dehner and her husband J.R. of Augusta KS; three sisters: her twin Ruth Franklin of Pleasant Hill, Arlene Gay of Oklahoma, and Marilyn Swift of North Carolina; one brother David McKinzie of North Carolina; five grandchildren: Kami, Kendall, Kyli, Keli, and Harley; and many nieces and nephews.
