Bobby Joe Dugger, 78, of Independence, Missouri, passed away June 20, 2016 at his home with his loving wife Linda of 56 years beside him. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm. at New Salem Baptist Church, Independence on Saturday June 25th. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Pancreatic Cancer Research.
Bobby was born April 25, 1938, in Nevada, Missouri, to parents Henry Howard and Daisy Bell Dugger. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, and a retiree of Missouri Portland.
He is survived by his wife Linda; four children: Bobby L. Dugger, Kimi Phelps, Patrick Dugger, Shawn Dugger; children-in-law: Randy, Marcie, Angie and Valerie; In-laws, Rayme and Gary McCune, and Margaret Jones; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
