Art Durbin III, 56, of Blue Springs, MO, lost his battle with Kidney Cancer surrounded by family on December 6, 2015.
Art was an avid bass fisherman with Truman being his home lake. He worked to fish and for 35+ years was a pressman in KC.
Art was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Jr. He leaves his wife, Mary, and his little buddy, Skeeter, of Blue Springs; his mom, Betty Durbin of Oak Grove; his mother-in-law, Margaret Jones of Independence; sister, Desiree McCale (Steve) of Oak Grove; brother, Bob Durbin (Gerri Dawn) of Smithville; daughter, Amanda Long (Rick) of Buffalo, MO; sister-in-law, Margie Gray of Lee’s Summit; four grandchildren; and five beautiful nieces.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 12th at St. Michaels Episcopal Church, 1-70 & Lee’s Summit Road, Independence; with visitation at 3:00 p.m., followed by a memorial at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the church.
