Esther Durham, 90, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. A visitation will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Monday, November 2, 2015 with a funeral service following at 1:00 pm. Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38101.

Esther was born April 22, 1925 in Miami, Arizona, the daughter of Juan and Ascencion Barquin. Ester was catholic. She loved her family, shopping, talking on the phone with her grandchildren and especially loved when her grandchildren called her “GG”.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Durham in 2003. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Lorraine Padilla (Danny) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Donna Johns (Bill) of Oak Grove, MO; 2 sons, Rocky Wright (Marilyn) of Macomb, MI, and John Stenvall (Patti) of Grain Valley, MO; 1 brother, John Barquin (Dee) of California; 2 sisters, Henrietta of Colorado, and Maryann Musser of South Carolina; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
