Sharon Kay Elam, 65, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley with a memorial service following at 7:00 pm. 

Sharon was born October 28, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Russell and Louise Elam. Sharon retired from being a supervisor at the US postal services in 2010. She was an amazing cook, a Chiefs and Royals fan, loved pitching baseball, taking road trips, being outdoors and loved life in general. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

Sharon is survived by her husband, Vincent Saladino of the home; daughter, Kimberly Soberalski of Herrington, KS; step-son, Mark Saladino of Blue Springs, MO; 5 grandchildren, Brittany (Jake) Ford of Savannah, GA, Tiffany Soberalski of Herrington, KS, Montana Saladino of Blue Springs, MO and Trixie Saladino of Blue Springs, MO; 5 sisters, Lorene Detlefson, JoAnn James, Mary Koontz, Carroll Stewart and Marlene Nichols; 5 brothers, Russell Elam, Robert Elam, Charles Elam, Kenneth Elam, Larry Elam; and a host of nieces and nephews.
