Mason Edward Fasel, 46, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2016.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Blue Springs.  Memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m., also at the church.

Mason was born August 22, 1970, in Portland, Oregon, the son of George and Gertrude (Lammers) Fasel.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College.  Mason was a devoted father who loved his girls, loved watching football and sports in general.  He was a very good boss and loved his employees.

Mason is preceded in death by his father.  His survivors include his beloved wife, Heather; two daughters, Kimberley Fasel and Kiran Fasel; his mother, Gertrude Fasel of Columbia; two sisters, Kimberley Carlson (Brian) of Brooklyn, NY and Marion Fasel of New York, NY; mother-in-law, Sue R. Forsee of Martinez, CA; brother-in-law, Nicholas Forsee of Martinez, CA; and a large extended family.
