Earl “Dean” Gore


Earl “Dean” Gore, 90, of Grain Valley, Missouri, peacefully left this world to join the love of his life, Pat Gore, on October 28, 2017.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10th at Lake Tapawingo Clubhouse, 224 Dockside Drive. A memorial service will be held during the celebration at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Gore was born September 29, 1927, in Independence, Missouri, to Lola and William Gore.  He graduated from Northeast High School in 1946 and then proudly served his country in the US Navy.  In 199,2 he retired from the Vendo Corporation. Dean thoroughly enjoyed golfing, fishing and a nice cold adult beverage.

Mr. Gore was met in heaven by his parents; eight siblings; and his beautiful wife of 47 years, Patricia (McEvers) Gore.  Dean is survived by his stepsons, Greg Fedo (Patti) of Lake Tapawingo and Todd Fedo (Denise) of Independence; grandsons, Austin Fedo, Patrick Fedo, and Nick Moretina (Johanna); loving granddaughter / caretaker, Heather Mata (Orion); seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to Crossroads Hospice and the staff at The Parkway Senior Living for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice.
