Ival Maurice Greer, 77, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. A visitation will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, from 10:00 to 10:30 am on Saturday, July 18, 2015 with a memorial service following at 10:30 am.
Maurice was born August 26, 1937 in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Everett and Euna Greer. Maurice was in the National Guard before he was a truck driver who drove for Jack Cooper/ United Transport and retired in 2001. Maurice loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Greer of Grain Valley, MO; father, Everett Greer of Lee’s Summit, MO; 2 daughters, Maurissa Pfister of Grain Valley, MO, and Marsha Evans of Grain Valley, MO; 2 step daughters, Sondra (Kevin) Bell of Kennedale, TX, and Lucinda Aubert of Prague, OK; 3 siblings, Joyce Johnson, Norris Greer, and Dale Greer; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Nancy Ann Tanner-Jones; and his mother, Euna Greer.
