Charlene Louise Hart, 77, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 25th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Charlene was born July 10, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Paul F. and Violet (Perkins) Guffey. She was a housewife, a former 4-H leader, and a member of Kansas City Church. Charlene enjoyed helping Mike with his mowing business, working outside, cooking, and being ornery with her family and friends.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Guffey Sr.
Her survivors include her husband of 38 years, Mike Hart of the home; stepdaughter, Jennifer Case (Aaron) of Lee’s Summit, MO; three brothers: Jim Guffey (Gail) of Lee’s Summit, F.A. Guffey of Boliver, MO, and Clyde Guffey (Gail) of Tucson, AZ; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
