John Robert Haynik, 74, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery.
John was born June 3, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Steve and Anna (Mikula) Haynik. He loved his country and was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1963 – 1967. John installed hardwood floors, and owned and operated Custom Wood Floors. He enjoyed woodworking and home remodeling. John loved his family and the Lord, and was a member of Plaza Heights Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife Constance “Connie” Haynik of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Hall (Corey) of St. Peters, MO, and Holly Mock (Michael) of Napoleon, MO; two sons, Howard Bellamy of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Michael “Tony” Bellamy (Lisa) of Lee’s Summit, MO; Grampy to his nine grandchildren: Emily Hall, Natalie Hall, Michael “Blake” Mock, Jacqueline Bellamy, Sabrina Bellamy, Rebecca Bellamy, Kayleigh Bellamy, Nicholas Bellamy, and Ashlyn Bellamy; one brother, Richard Haynik; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Joanne Milner.
