Barbara Alice Hearn, 85, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Villages of Jackson Creek. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1st at Buckner United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the church’s memorial fund.
Barbara was born January 13, 1933, in Camdenton, Missouri, the daughter of Roma Leo and Nellie Ethel (Livingston) Rhoads. She worked very hard at her job as a surgery technician at Independence Regional Hospital. Barbara loved to go out to eat, antiquing, and enjoyed the activities at the Villages of Jackson Creek. She appreciated her loving neighbors who watched over her and helped her anytime she needed them. She was a member of the Buckner United Methodist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Mack, Ronnie, Bob, and Stanley Rhoads; and her husband, Edgar Hearn on March 4, 2008.
Her survivors include her daughter, Deborah Kirchner (Wayne) of Buckner; her son, Dan Hearn (Sandra) of Buckner; four grandchildren: Brian Hearn, Jason Hearn, John Kirchner, and Paul Kirchner; and three great-grandchildren: Cooper Kirchner, Camala Kirchner, and Paul Kirchner Jr.
