MaKayla Nicole Henderson, 29, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22^nd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for her children’s education in care of Jamey Dorman or Jamie Wyatt.

MaKayla was born December 20, 1989, in Independence, Missouri.  She was a 2008 graduate of Oak Grove High School and went on the receive an Associate Degree in criminal justice.  MaKayla was an avid Chiefs fan, loved racing, and enjoyed going to the lake.  Her two boys were her whole world.

MaKayla was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Marilyn Henderson; and paternal grandfather, Rex Rowden.

Her survivors include her fiancé, Jamie Wyatt of the home; two sons, Elijah and Dakota Wyatt; her mother & stepfather, Jamey and Josh Dorman of Independence, MO; two brothers: Sebastian Rowden and Anthony Rowden, both of Independence; her father, Robert Rowden of Independence; paternal grandmother, June Skaggs of Bates City, MO; and paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Moss of Bates City.
