
Bobby Steve Herrington, age 75, passed away in his home in Lone Jack, MO on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015. He was born October 1, 1939 in Summerfield, OK. He was a truck driver for Graves Truck Line under the Teamsters Union in Kansas City, MO for 30 years until his retirement in 1983. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, helped his wife run the daily business of Jo’s Bait & Tackle, and was a member of the Oak Grove Bible Church in Oak Grove, MO.
Bob is survived by his wife, Josephine (Morris) Herrington of 57 years; 4 children: Robert, Curtis and wife Lori, Timothy, Kathryn and husband Johnny Tracy; 1 brother, Paul and wife Susan; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Mildred (Stevens) Herrington; 4 brothers: Clifford, Arnold, Wayne and wife Hazel, Pete; and sister, Norma Lee and husband Jack Milligan.
His Memorial service will be held Sunday, August 30th at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Bible Church, 8406 South Outer Belt Road, Oak Grove, MO 64075, immediately followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
