
Cheryl Ann Hosler, 69, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Carmel Hills Nursing Home, Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11th at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence; burial in New Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Cheryl was born March 1, 1947, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, the daughter of George and Kathryn (Jorgensen) Graybill. In her 20s, she was a secretary at Clark Manufacturing in Atherton, MO. Later, Cheryl was employed for over 10 years at Oak Grove Nursing Home in the housekeeping department. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, canning, and reading.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Phyllis Loe; and four brothers: Keith, Dwight, Lloyd, & Delmar.
Her survivors include her husband of 44 years, Lynwood Hosler of the home; her son, George Hosler & wife, Erin, of Lenexa, KS; her daughter, Adele Hall & husband, Lance, of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren: Lexxie & Bella Hall, and Mia Hosler; and two brothers, George Graybill of Sand Springs, OK, and David Graybill of Atherton, MO.
