Imogene Jeffers, 83, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1st at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Imogene was born December 22, 1932, in Pettigrew, Arkansas, the daughter of Oscar and Georgia (Seals) Williams. She married Ronald Jeffers September 1, 1955 and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1983. Imogene enjoyed reading, sewing, shopping, eating sweets, watching old movies, and was a fan of Elvis and the Royals. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s activities.
Her survivors include one daughter, Teri McLallen (Greg) of Oak Grove; one son, Brady Jeffers (Sherrie) of Odessa, MO; four grandchildren: Linnea Johnson (Eric) of Allen, TX, Rikki McLallen of Pleasant Hill, MO, Mallory McLallen of Oak Grove, and Robert Jeffers (Jennifer) of Odessa; four great-grandchildren: Espen, Dexter, Jolee, and Kayla; two brothers, Roger Williams and Randy Williams; five sisters: Deana Brewster, Rowena Smith, JoAnn Bennett, Sharon Haught, and Jackie Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Imogene was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
