Paul Joe Johnson, 78, of Grain Valley, MO passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29t at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial following in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Paul was born on January 5, 1942 in Clinton, MO son of Tom and Nellie (Myers) Johnson. He was married for almost 56 years to Frances (Pollock) Johnson. He was a wonderful husband and a great father. He loved wood working and could fix anything. He was a man of integrity and a hard worker. He inherited his skills from his father and brothers.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Wanda Jones and Wanita Smith; and 2 brothers, Eugene Johnson and Cecil Johnson.
Paul’s survivors include his wife, Fran of the home; son, Jeff Johnson of Grain Valley; daughter, Dana Ferguson (Donald) of Grain Valley; grandchildren, Spencer Weddle of Grain Valley and Logan Weddle of Grain Valley; step-grandchildren, Christopher Julsgard of Nashville, TN and Thomas Rheaume of Nashville; 2 brothers, Harold Johnson (Mary) of Liberty, MO and James Johnson of Clinton; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
