Louis Johnston, 76, of Oak Grove, MO passed away October 5, 2015 at St Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.  

Dad was born in Curtis, NE in 1939 and was a lifelong Nebraska Cornhusker fan. He worked for State Farm for 25 years as a Claims Adjuster and finished his career as an independent adjuster in 2005.  Dad was happiest attending the sporting events of his grandkids.

He was survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Jane (Wright) Johnston; two sons, Charles and wife, Lesley Johnston, James “TJ” Johnston; and daughter, Jenny Skaggs; seven grandchildren: Alex, Brooke, Frank, Michael, Tyson, Trevor, Nicholas; siblings, Bonnie and Doug; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Zoey.

Friends and family are invited to an open house that will be held at the home on Saturday, October 10 from 2p-4p.  Dad loved the Cornhuskers so the family requests that guests wear RED.
