Thomas Jerry Lamb, 77, of Independence, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. The burial will take place following the service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, MO.
Thomas was born on October 4, 1942 in Jasper, AR, son of Thomas and Thelma (Hickman) Lamb. He was a member of Maywood Baptist Church, formerly at Fifteenth street Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked as a salesman for McKesson. He enjoyed golf, was a collector of football cards, baseball cards and beer cans. He was a sports fanatic and especially liked the Arkansas Razorbacks.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lamb on April 8, 2019; 2 brothers, John Lamb and David Lamb; parents, Thomas and Thelma Lamb; and niece, Katie Kavadas.
His survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Wallace of Independence; sister, Martha Kavadas (Chris) of Oak Grove; brother, Dean Lamb (Becky) of Independence; and grandson, Daniel Gage Wallace (Amber) of Independence.
