Goldie M. Lampton, 87, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Friday June 10, 2016. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church of Odessa, MO, on Monday June 13, 2016. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday also at the church; burial following in Lexington Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Odessa, MO.

Goldie was born on August 8, 1928 in Mayview, Missouri, daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Robinett) Manning. She and Robert Lampton got married in 1984. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling and listening to books on tapes. She loved her church and spending time with her family.

Goldie is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth Manning; and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Paulette Morgan (Michael) of Independence, MO, Barbara Young of Ballwin, MO, Brenda Ginnings (Darrell) of Lone Jack, MO, Mary Ruth Whitson (Kenneth) of Vidalia, GA; son, Michael Beard Sr. of Kansas City, MO; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
