Rayhugh E. Majors Jr.


Rayhugh “Ray” Everette Majors, Jr., 73, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29th at Faith Baptist Church, Higginsville, MO.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.

Ray was born September 21, 1943, in Waco, Texas, the son of Rayhugh Everette Sr. and LaJuana Elise (Taylor) Majors.  He enjoyed making model cars, watching old westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren, especially C.J.

Ray was preceded in death by one son, Rayhugh Majors III.  His survivors include three daughters: Nicole Majors of Mayview, MO, Carolyn Weaver (Josh) of Higginsville, and Tammy Majors of Higginsville; one son, Neal Majors of Harrisonville, MO; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters: Emma Shaffer (Bill) of Pomme De Terre, MO, Belinda Skivers of Higginsville, and Margaret Fisher of Columbia, MO; and his ex-wife, Diane Majors.
