Richard M. Miller, 69, of Independence, MO, passed away at his home March 4, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16th at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence.
Richard was born November 27, 1949 in Des Moines, IA to Floyd & Dorothy Miller. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed working in cars, painting, and spending time with his family and friends. Richard enjoyed going to all his grandchildren’s activities. He also liked a Good Time!
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Dorothy Miller; his best friend, Marianne Clampffer.
Richard is survived by his children: Erika Miller-McAnally & husband Darren of Independence, and Donald Miller & wife Megan of Lexington, MO; grandchildren: Lydia McAnally, Sage Miller, Elisabeth Staus, Mina Miller, Johnnie Staus, and LilyAnna Miller; and brother, Donald Miller & wife Pamela of Independence.
