Daniel Montavy, 67, Born June 4, 1952, passed on April 11, 2020.  A Celebration service will be held at a later date.   

Danny lived with his wife Karen (Gilmore) in their home in Grain Valley.  They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.  She survives of the home.   

Other surviving family members include his children: Kevin, Crystal Patrick (Montavy), and Eric Patrick; his grandkids and great-grandkids: Nick, Becca (Colville), Austin Wood, Noah Patrick, Rachel, Drew Patrick, Jessie Patrick, Caleb, Matthew, and Emmelia; and his siblings: Roger Kenneth, Joyce, Ladonna, and Beverly.     

Danny was an avid angler and camper.  He was one of the founding leaders of the annual “Men’s Campout”.  Family was very important to him.  Danny was an amazing boxer in his youth, becoming the Golden Gloves Champion.  He continued his fight throughout his life.
