John Arthur Morlan, 56, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11th at Maywood Baptist Church, 10505 E Winner Rd, Room 210, Independence, MO 64052.
John was born July 3, 1963, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Johnny A. and Pauline S. (Sellegren) Morlan. He was a dedicated father and took very good care of his daughter. John was a business owner remodeling homes most of his life. He loved the Chiefs, Rock-n-Roll, and his beer.
John was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Teresa Cooper, Jennifer Morlan, and Barbara Graham; and a great-nephew, Noah Stratton.
His survivors include his daughter, Jessica Morlan-Webb of Independence; grandson, Johnny Webb of Warsaw, MO; two sisters: Alexis Huddleston of Oak Grove, MO, and Donna Morlan of Independence; and many nieces and nephews.
