Drexel “D.J.” Dwayne Morris, 22, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23rd at Royer Funeral Home, Blue Springs. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
D.J. was born on September 15, 1995 in San Bernardino, CA, son of Drexel D. Morris Sr. and Gretchen Brown. He loved to watch horror movies and do arts and crafts. He loved for Chaplain Tony to read him bible scriptures. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Corey and Terrance.
D.J. is survived by his father, Drexel Morris Sr. of the home; his mother, Gretchen Brown of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Kisha Cambell and Terrica White, both of Las Vegas; two uncles, Ed Gaines of Independence and Steve Morris of Los Angeles, CA; and two aunts, Toni Smallwood of Independence and Tommicyne Gillory of Atlanta, GA.
