Betty J. Noble, 89, of Independence, MO, formerly Kansas City, MO, passed away on Wednesday, October 7th at Research Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1925 to John and Cecil Carney in Centralia, KS.
She was a long-time member of Rebekah Lodge. Her favorite pastime was gardening and working in her yard maintaining her beautiful flowers which she did, even while using a walker, until about 2 years ago when he health deteriorated.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion D. Noble, her parents and all her siblings. She is survived by her son and his wife, John and Caroline Noble, also of Independence; 2 grandchildren, Angela Hash and Ron Noble; 5 great grandchildren, Michaela Koch, Mickey Koch, Brittani Noble, Tyler Noble and Baleigh Noble; 5 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 1:00 PM followed by services at 2:00 PM at New Salem Funeral Home in Independence with burial following at New Salem Cemetery.
