Henry W. Orf, 72, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 22nd at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers, Henry suggested donations to the Oak Grove Food Pantry, ℅ Faith in Christ Fellowship, P.O. Box 146, Oak Grove, MO 64075: Food Pantry.
Henry was born May 26, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Jake and Gelena (Kramos) Orf. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Henry spent most of his life breeding and training show horses. He worked and retired from the Oak Grove Post Office. He was a friend to all and loved to laugh freely and often.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Florena Batts.
His survivors include a brother, Pete Org; two sisters, Sandy Cogan and Mary Orrison; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
