Elmer Ralph Peace, 71, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Services will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove on Wednesday, December 2nd; visitation 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., and memorial service following at 7:00 p.m.
Elmer was born April 18, 1944 in Potosi, Missouri, the son of Horace and Theresa (Paul) Peace. He married Deborah Todd in June 1974. Elmer was a machinist at Fike for 25 years before retiring in 2010. He always gave 100 percent in everything he did and he could do anything he set his mind to. Elmer enjoyed spending time fishing at the lake, building computers, watching Nascar, and spending time with family. His greatest accomplishment was his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for being witty, compassionate, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda Peace & Sue Eaves; and granddaughter, Kayla Pocock.
Those who remain to mourn him include his wife of 41 years, Debbie Peace of the home; daughter, Lisa Hayes of Oak Grove; son, Gary Todd of Oak Grove; three grandsons: Matthew Pocock, Alex Todd, & Hunter Todd, all of Oak Grove; four sisters: Diana Akers, Anita Portell, Betty Thompson, all of Potosi, and Sharon Thompson & husband, Terry, of Cadet, MO; many nieces & nephews and other relatives & friends who will sadly miss him.
