Lisa Kay Phelps, 53, of Sugar Creek, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th in Chilhowee Cemetery, Chilhowee, MO.
Lisa was born on November 8, 1963 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Harold and Lavena (Kruse) Phelps. She loved to read, color in coloring books and especially loved her animals. She is preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Harold Phelps Jr. and Larry Phelps.
Her survivors include her sisters: Karen Simpson (Terry) of Independence, MO, Diana Martin of Independence, MO and Sandra Vajda (Steven) of Blue Springs, MO; sister-in-law, Sharon Wade of Independence, MO; nieces, Neysa Henry (Billy) of Independence, MO and Dana Edgell (Bruce) of Ohio; and nephews, Anthony Norris (Margie) of Texas and David Bly (Ann) of Independence, MO.
